From Kelly McNutt’s blog
Illustrator Cedric Hohnstadt has officially declared March 2011 to be Sketchbook Month and created this blog to celebrate. Contributors commit to doing at least one sketch each weekday for the entire month.
You must agree to create at least one new sketch every weekday for the rest of March. You get weekends off (artwork submitted for Saturdays and Sundays will not be posted).
You can join at any time but everything shuts down on March 31, 2011.
Each day post your latest sketch online (on your blog, fiickr page, etc.). Then email a link for the sketch to sketches@cedricstudio.com. As often as he can Cedric will update the blog with the new artwork and a link back to your site.
To keep things manageable we will only post one sketch per artist per day.
You can draw whatever you'd like as long as it's clean, respectful, and family-friendly.
Happy Sketching!
I like it! Nice & sketchy, cool robot. The rendering on that li’l guy on the lower right brings to mind McDonnell’s MUTTS.
Thanks, Paul! Remember the Disney short about gremlins? Or even the WB one with Bugs and gremlins? The li’l guy is one of them. That robot is in trouble he hasn’t dreamed of.
